Burning down the house

P O S T went up really early this morning to put the last logs into the pavilion. At two o´clock in the afternoon we had a opening ceremony for the pavilion. Tourists from foreign countries and people living in Jukkasjärvi and Kiruna came to see the building. Many of them at first though that the whole building was going to be burned down at the same time but when we explained the use of the pavilion many of them took logs from the facade and put them into the fire. Two newspapers also came, one unannounced. To sum the day up we are very happy about the outcome.

Fence

P O S T have today put up the fence. It turned out to be harder than we had expected. Now the bearing system is finished and tomorrow we will put 9 cubic meters of fire wood into the structure. Today the sun hasn´t been up for the whole day and we wish for colder and clearer weather tomorrow.

P O S T have now arrive
d to Jukkasjärvi and started the building process of the pavilion. In this arctic climate we live in a beautiful red wooden house next to the homestead. Today we have, with help from Kjell and one of his friends, piled a part of the construction.
